I am a female with the name of Jill (it is NOT Jillian or Jillann, just to clarify). However, on several other name origin websites and in books, etc., my name is frequently said to mean either sweetheart, youthful heart, or a girl if the origin is English or it is a variation of Julius if stated as Latin origin. This website states that is of the Latin origin. Does anyone know the true meaning, or is it always going to be confusing like this?
