I was wondering if you could help on a name.
Female: Jauleia
Not sure of ethnic background, there are hints to Native American.
We cannot find anyone that has even heard of this name. My wife is just curious what her name means and where it comes from.

Is she sure it's not an unusual spelling of Julia - perhaps to mimic the pronunciation of a non-native speaker of English?
I know nothing of native American languages, but that's the simplest explanation. Plus, it would be quite a coincidence for something so close to Julia to have arisen independently.

I can't be 100% certain of anything. The story is that her father named her that after a woman he knew (of Native American origin). He liked the name. That is really about all I know about it. Have no way of really finding out the exact origin of "Jauleia", let alone its meaning.
