My name is Rajita, and I have no idea what my name means. Does anyone know? I am SriLankan-born, and you don't often come across this name anywhere. If anyone knows, please email me. I am interested to know.

According to one source, Rajita means "illuminated, resplendent":)

I am not so sure but I think that it is derived from Rajat which means both silver and saraswati. It is also derivative of Aparajita.
