Sooner or later I'll take my Hispanic friend Monica up on her suggestion to visit her since she moved to Mexico. I love that name!

Hi Mónica,it really depends on the country! In Scandinavia it was quite popular in the 70s (Monika + Monica) and in Germany in the 50s and 60s. So you'll meet a lot of 30-year-old Scandinavians and 40-50-year-old Germans.Regards, Satu

i know one person and she is my cousin. Good luck on the figure. you could try the Most popular Names under collections and spell it Monica. maybe try the Census Bureaus in your country or other countries. Hope it helped!

hey Mónica,
i've only been alive for 17 years and i've known about 4 Monica's.
one of my friends names was Monica Grace, the other was Monica Renee
and 2 of my friends' mom's names was Monica.
Personally i think it's more common in older women more than younger. but i think it's time for the name to have a come back.
