Can anyone tell me about the name Mirren? It is a Scottish Saints Name
what is the correct spelling for the female version and what does it mean? What is the origin of the name?

Aha, St Mirren, the patron saint of Scottish football?It's the local pronunciation of Marian, or indeed Marion, and would mean either Little Mary or Belonging To Mary - the Mary in question being the BVM.
