Message: "Middle Name" - Behind the Name

Middle Name

If you couldn't tell by my last name it is very German. I also have a very German middle name. That of my Grandfather Aldrich. I have no idea what it mean or the signifigance. I have looked in name books and the closest I have found is Ulrich. So if any one could help with the mystery of Aldrich that would be great!!!

It's probably a spelling variation of Aldrick, although Oldrich / Ulrich is also a valid possibility. Click any of the name hyperlinks for more details.
