Well said, Diana and Phyllis. Perhaps I was a bit harsh with our visitor... But then, anyone who comes into my general vicinity and identifies herself as an educator is going to be held to a higher standard by Yours Truly. I hope that our teacher has a sense of humor, to go with her sense of naming esthetics. :)

Teachers, most especially, should take great pains to see that they correctly spell the names of their students. Particularly in these modern days of multi-culturalism.
