I really like the name Fiona and when I looked up the meaning I found both 'fair' and 'vine'. The name was listed as Irish and sometimes Scottish. Am I right in thinking the Fiona (fee-O-na) is a Scottish feminine form of Fionn and FĂona means vine in Irish and should really be pronounced FEE-uh-na?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
