Isis" is "sat / sit Aset" in classic and "benet Aset" in modern Egyptian.
Isis is the Greek form, Egyptians called her Aset - just like
Joan of Arc is the English form but French people call her
Jeanne d'Arc (modern form of the Old French Jehanne Darc).
Meret (more commonly
Merit / Meryt) is indeed "beloved".
