My Name.
Okay. I know what my name means here. It's a non gender specific name and means strong of heart. There's a fellow Native woman named Keoma who was painted by an artist, and a town of Keoma in Alberta, CA.
But I've also heard about Keomas Over in Hawaii and Japan. Does any one know about these? Any other places I haven't heard about?
Thanx.

Keo- is a common prefix in Hawaiian, but it's more likely that the name is Japanese. (Also, pu'uwai is the Hawaiian word for heart.) Keoma could be a corruption of a Japanese name beginning "Ky" or "Ki."

I can't find Keoma, but I can find Keona. Keona means gift of GOD in Hawaïan.Marloes

Yah, it means strong heart in my people's language, so of course it wouldn't be the same in Hawaiian. I was just wondering if my name had other instances in foreign cultures.
