Elizabelle
A week ago I met a girl named Elizabelle and I thought the name was divine. Does anybody know its origin and meaning. And what do you think of this name?

Elizabeth, originally Hebrew, became Isabel in Spanish and then Isabelle in French. So it looks as if someone put the front half of the Hebrew name with the back half of the French/Spanish version.I don't like it, for what that's worth, though I do like Elizabeth and Isabel. That -lle is too fussy for my simple tastes ...

It appears to be a combination of Elizabeth and Belle. And I don't like it.Array
