As delphine said Sinisa (original spelling SiniĊĦa) is a male name used in Croatia and other ex-Yugoslavian countries. It is pronounced 'SEE-nee-shah'. The meaning comes from the noun 'sin'(pr. with the long ee, not like the English word sin) meaning 'son'.
In Croatia it was the most popular in 1970s/80s.
