This was not part of the question but it might be interesting to some that the word thunder (torden in Norwegian) derives from "Thor" and "dønn" - the latter meaning "rumble" or "boom".

Pretty cool to be a little boy named after this awesome God who creates thunder and lightening - travelling in the sky in his cart, don't you think?
