Meanings of Sassica and Saseline?
I have come across these females names and they're interesting. Would these names be related to Alexander/Alexandra (Sasha, Sassa)? A few internet results appeared for Sassica, some Australian and some from the UK. The only result for Saseline is Saseline Sorensen from the Danish band 'S.O.A.P'. She went by Line. Any ideas would be great!

For the danish Saseline, it looks like an extension of the danish name Sasa which is a short form of either Alexander or Saskia.Sassica looks like an invention of the parents made up along the lines of Jessica; but there is also a male name Sasikka.

Thank you elbowin. I haven't heard of Sasikka before, so that's an interesting point. :)

Their is also Sassinack; I'm not sure of the spelling anymore. Her mother said it was Scandinavian meaning battler or survivor...and her hubby's idea. Little girl went by Sassy.

Thanks Cyndi. I'll have to look into Sassinack. :)
