Hello,Recently I heard the name "Zinha" and I liked it. I am planning to put this name for my baby, Can anyone please help me with the name meaning and origin of it.Your support at the earliest is appreciated greatly.RegardsAnwer

Might be a short form of Tereza (through Terezinha) or Mariazinha or Rosinha or other names ending in -za / -sa.

Are you sure of the spelling? Perhaps what you heard was Zinnia - they would sound the same - and if you click on it you'll get the information you need.

It seems to be a Portuguese spelling.

Zinha, may also be a variant of Xenia, which is Greek girls name, meaning "guest or stranger"
I had a friend named Xenia, we pronounced it as Zeen-ya
