Mishael
Can anyone help me with the meaning of this Hebrew male name? I've seen it described as being related to Michael or as meaning "Who is asked for or lent". Which one is correct?

It does seem like a variation of Michael, which means "who is like god?". The meaning looks made up.
According to the data base, Saul means "asked for" in Hebrew, but it has no resemblance at all to this name.
