I've always wondered about that one as well.
Zavien or Savian or Savion.
Is it spun off of Severin, Sabinus or Xavier via Saverio maybe?

My best guess is that Savion, as in the famous dancer and choreographer Savion Glover, is an African-American form of Saviano, the Italian form of Sabinus. But that is only a guess; I haven't been able to track down how Mr. Glover's parents came up with the name.I would guess that Zavien is a blend of Savion and Xavier. (P.S. Looks like my guess about Savion was wrong. Savion seems to be his mother's creation based on the word "savior". See the entries on Savion itself below.)
