Re: what does syauqi mean?
in reply to a message by vika
Well, this one was hard, but i found it. Syauqi is an Arabic name, also written as Shauqi. I found a website with meanings of Arabic names in Malay. Syauqi means 'rinduku' in Malay. I don't understand Malay, but i found a good online dictionary and looked for the Malay word 'rindu' (rinduku was not in the database and i noticed that rindu is a malay word too). Rindu means 'to long for' and -ku at the end of a verb means "i...", thus rinduku means "i long for".

‘Rindu’ in English means "miss/longing" and `ku/aku’ meaning "I" so it supposed to mean I miss you or miss me or my longing ❔idk but syauqi is so friendly, polite and kind. I like being his friend. He also has a very cute eyes and sweet smile. And very good at doing presentation in front of the class too❤️MasyaAllah Tabarakallah
