My name is Tchernavia and I am dying to find out if anyone knows what it means/where it comes from or anything. I am a female and my mother knew a girl with the same name. I know there are other Tchernavia's and I've even seen a Shanavia. Everyone jokes and thinks its eastern european, but i don't think so. I learned about my last name (Gissentanna) about 5 years ago, so now its time for the rest!! Thanks
