Religious preference? Atheist, or mildly religious practices, but nothing that will majorly influence the lives of the adopter e.e. going to Midnight Mass, wearing a hijab, etc

Mikaere and Timoti and native New Zealanders. Their father killed in a construction accident and their mother has a drinking problem and is unable to care for them any longer. Both boys love animals, especially birds. Mikaere is also obsessed with space and wants to be and astronaut when he grows up. Timoti dreams of being a superhero, with Sonic the Hedgehog as his sidekick.
