This was a busy five years for the growing Garland clan. All of the rest of the children got married.
Jared met Lorelei when she came in to the small storefront Jared has to showcase his handmade furniture. She wanted to buy a special piece to enliven her apartment after her divorce. The two clicked, and after some time she introduced him to her son, Aric, then 2 years old. They were married a year later, with Aric acting as ring-bearer. They decided to start expanding their family last year, and after not conceiving for a while, sought medical intervention…and ended up with triplets! While more than they bargained for, they’re thrilled with their healthy babies, Thomas, Kiefer, and Matilda. Thankfully, grandparents Farran and Elaina are nearby and can help out a lot!
Findlay and Mira had another child, this time a son, Steven. Mira got a job as a professor of French studies and Finn works mostly at home as a graphic designer.
Catriona’s career has been taking off quickly. During school she danced in several well-received shows and theatre pieces. After graduation she was taken on by a dance company and, in her first major performance as a professional, she danced her way into the heart of the director, Walker. They wed this year, and aren’t planning on having children soon, if at all.
Elspeth hasn’t lost her desire to work with animals, and is at school now training for veterinary medicine. She married her friend and hiking buddy, Ossian, a biologist, who shares her love of the furred kind.
