Re: Adelaide Sue Mona

Adelaide Sue Mona, "Ada", is my favorite of your options because Adelaide flows nicely with your surname and that is mainly what your daughter will live with, day to day, when she presents or hears her name formally. I think you are in a bit of a pickle with the names you most love not happening to flow well with your surname, and I can appreciate your struggle. Is the flow of Adelaide Sue Mona perfect? No. Is it really a big deal? I don't think so. If you do, you could always try something like Adelaide Suzette Mona.I much prefer Adelaide over Adalee. I suggested the latter only because you really wanted improved flow with your surname (over Ada) and this spelling would be much easier to live with than would Aydaleigh. You can see that Adalee isn't received well by most of the "name nerd" posters here; don't know how that would translate into the more creative-tending real world. As much as I personally prefer to avoid hyphens in names, another option might be to go with Ada-Lee or Ada-Leigh which would not be perceived as made up. That said, I really don't find much difference in flow between Adelaide Sue Mona, Adalee Sue Mona and Ada-Lee Sue Mona. Again, personally, I prefer the Adelaide combo.Don't know if any of this is helpful, but it's an honest opinion. :)
