You're welcome! Suki is roughly "ss-kee" (similar to the English word "ski"). (You can see that the Japanese word "suki" is not pronounced like the English name Sukey, which is "SOO-kee.")Tsuki is "tss-kee." If you have trouble with "tss-," try saying "Let's ski" and then dropping the beginning of the word "Let's." That would be a good approximation.

i thought as a rule japanese always pronounce u s like oo like asuka is pronounced a soo ka

Katakana and Hiragana are syllabic, when transliterated into Romanji they're written with vowels following consonants even when not pronounced that way.
