The feminine name Awilda seems to be somewhat common in Puerto Rico. Does anyone know what it means?

I don't know the name but it reminds me of Alvilda. Maybe there's a connection?

Thanks Satu, maybe there is a connection. But I've no idea why Alvilda might be used in Puerto Rico. As far as I can tell there are no saints by that name.
