I think I like this variant better than Agatha.
My name is Agata and I have heard people pronounce my name twenty million different ways (Not literally, but there are a lot of ways to pronounce it). Thanks for all the nice comments about it though! Although Agatha is a nice name, I definitely prefer it without the h more.
I love Agata without the H because it's more gentle and unique.
Pretty!
So pretty.
Polish people seem to be in love with this name, without realizing that this name in the Western countries is associated with very old women. :D.
I think that this is a bit better then Agatha, even though it is one letter different. Getting rid of the H in Agatha changes it a lot. Agata sounds more gentle, while Agatha sounds more harsh. Either way, both names are nice.
Agata is my first daughter's second middle name and her Polish name. She is named after my Polish grandmother, Agata. We have had nothing but positive comments from friends and strangers. I love it!
Love it! Love it more than Agatha. The T is a lot easier to say then the TH in Agatha. Actually, when I first saw the name Agatha, I didn't notice the H, so I pronounced it this way. That's why I like it more.
I like this much better than Agatha. Probably because I like the ah sound more than the aa sound.
