This is my son's name. He is almost 17 years old now. I love the name and how uncommon it is (at least here in Colorado). He absolutely loves it as well for the same reason. His nickname since birth has been "Aguie". He is the THIRD and they call his grandfather "Gus".

Agustín Gaínza Vicandi was a Spanish football forward and manager. Nicknamed Piru, Gaínza's entire career was spent with Athletic Bilbao.
