This is my 20 yo brother’s name, it’s a very popular name in Spanish speaking countries. It’s a strictly masculine name and I know at least 15 guys named Agustín. Personally, I like the name, it’s youthful yet strong and I like the association with Saint Augustine.
Some common nicknames are Agus, Tin and Tincho.

This is my son's name. He is almost 17 years old now. I love the name and how uncommon it is (at least here in Colorado). He absolutely loves it as well for the same reason. His nickname since birth has been "Aguie". He is the THIRD and they call his grandfather "Gus".

This is such a SEXY name! I love the way it sounds.
