Can you say T-R-A-S-H-Y?
-- Paris44  10/5/2008
"T-R-A-S-H-Y"? I hardly think so. I generally don't like names that are rammed together into one name, but this one is actually quite pretty. It's nowhere nearly as bad as "Kaycee", "Destinee", "McKayla", "Kamryn", "Princess", and the like.

What a shame that this name is uncommon. It is so pretty. I love the way it sounds.

I love this name if it's pronounced AH-nah-beth. I don't like the way Anne-a-beth sounds.

Pretty name but for a strong girl.
-- CattyLoony  4/9/2010
It's a very pretty name. I've always had a liking for feminine names ending with "Beth", for some reason.

Annabeth Chase is one of the main characters in the Percy Jackson series. If you look, the name ATHENA is also in there.
-- writer371  3/2/2011
I've also heard this pronounced an-ə-BETH.

I personally think the name Annabel is better. The names 'Carly Beth' said together flows better than Annabeth in my opinion. Also, I prefer it written as Anna Beth (with a finger space).

I always relate Annabeth with Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson series.
