Aslaug, or Áslaug, probably means "God's Bath" or something similar as "Laug" means pool or bath and Áss comes from the Æsir which is the group of main gods in Norse mythology.

Aslaug Vaa (1889-1965) was a Norwegian writer and poet. She was the mother of Visual artist Anne Raknes (1914-2001) and Poet Magli Elster (1912-1993). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aslaug_Vaa)
