Comments for the name Bennie

"Bennie and the Jets" is a famous song by Elton John.

I can only think of Bennie as a girl's name now because my best friend is named Benjamine and decided to spell it this way to differentiate from the many Benny boys that we know.

I used to have a friend called Bennie. (She was a girl, not a guy.) I think its a sweet name.
