Cayley Mercer is a Canadian women's ice hockey player. She most recently played with the Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) in the 2018–19 season.
It looks like how my 2 year old friend Nora would spell Kaylee...
I like Kayley better, and I hate the spelling of Kaylee, especially because I despise Lee.
Sounds like a four-year-old tried to spell Kaylee... And influenced it by their name, Hayley.
Very babyish spelling.
This name is already childish, this spelling and every other spelling variant of Kaylee makes it look even more childish.
Not my favourite spelling- my favourite spelling is Kayleigh. But Cayley is still super cute!
This is my name and it's awesome! I hate how people are like blah it's better with a k and blah blah balh. It's unique and that's why I love it. There's barely anyone who spells it c-a-y-l-e-y. It's Irish not English. It means slender / Irish princess.
I highly doubt the name 'Cayley' means Irish princess. 'Cayley' is not Irish at all, it's merely a variant of the modern English name Kaylee, which is a combination of Kay and Lee. The closest to Irish it could be is an anglicization of the word ceilidh, typically anglicized as Kayleigh. You could also be thinking of Cailin, which is an Irish word (emphasis on word) that means girl. So no, there is no real meaning of the name Cayley. Is purely a modern invention, and if you really want to give it a meaning you have to trace it all the way back to either Kayleigh or Cailin, both modern English names that are simply anglicizations of Irish words not meant to be used as names.
This is a very pretty name, but I like it better spelled Kailey=) I'm surprised it's rare?
I don't like these trendy child names. I mean what happens when you're 50 and your name is Cayley. Seriously it's a little kid name. There's so many ways to spell this name it's annoying.Kaylee
Kailee
Kayley
Kayleigh

Caylee Marie Anthony (born August 9, 2005, in Orlando, Florida, died 2008) attracted international attention regarding the circumstances of her disappearance in June 2008 and subsequently determined death. Her mother, Casey Anthony, was indicted on October 14, 2008, for the first-degree murder of Caylee. Police found Casey Anthony's account of Caylee's disappearance suspicious after learning that Casey had not reported her daughter missing for more than a month. The last time Casey Anthony claimed to have seen Caylee was on June 9, 2008, but the child's disappearance was not reported to police until July 15, 2008. On December 11, 2008, skeletal remains of what appeared to be a young child were found by a meter reader. The Orange County Medical Examiner confirmed on December 19, 2008, that the human remains found close to the home of the family were those of Caylee Anthony.Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caylee_Anthony
I actually like Caylee and Kaeley better, but Cayley is cute, too.
I LOVE this name! Much better than Kayley, Cayleigh, Kaylee, etc.
Cayley is an English surname which was originally derived from a place name meaning "jackdaw clearing" in Old English.
This is my name! People always spell it wrong. It's not very common to start with a C.
This name just doesn't seem right with a C. Kaylie and Kailey are better!
Can also be spelt Caley - this is the only version I have seen in NZ.
I believe that it can alternately be spelt "Caylie".
