Comments for the name Cymbeline

In the Bratz film "Fashion Pixiez", there's a girl called Cymbeline who is a Pixie Princess. It doesn't strike me as a masculine name.

I knew one girl with this name, although she pronounced it "Sim-bell-lyn".

Yes, I think that this name sounds more feminine than masculine as well, and I can't imagine a boy with this name, but it would make quite a nice girls' name. :)

I love the sound of Cymbeline, but can't imagine it on a male in a modern context. Before I knew more about the Shakespeare play, I thought the title referred to the heroine of the tale. It sounds very feminine, to say the least, so I think it would work fine as a female name.
