Delores

Delores Robinson is an American geophysicist who is a professor and department chair at the University of Alabama. Her research considers how orogenic systems evolve from porto-magmatic arcs, with a particular focus on Western Nepal, India, Bhutan and Southern Tibet.

Delores E. Churchill (Haida: Ilskyaalas) is a First Nations Canadian artist of Haida descent. She is a weaver of baskets, hats, robes, and other regalia, as well as leading revitalization efforts for Haida, her native language.

Delores Ann Richburg Greene (1936 – 2022) was an American educator based in Virginia. She was a dean of two colleges of education, at Virginia Union University and at Virginia State University.

Delores Christopher (1947 – 2018) was a British Virgin Islands politician and businesswoman. She was the third woman elected to the House of Assembly of the British Virgin Islands. She was first elected in the 2003 general election as a representative for the Fifth District on behalf of the National Democratic Party, and subsequently served from 2011 until her death in 2018.

Delores Winters is a DC Comics character, originally named Dolores Winters. Until recently her main role in DC Universe history has been as a body occupied by the Ultra-Humanite in the 1940s, but she has made more significant appearances in current continuity.
