I really like this name, I don't know a Desirae though, but I think it's really pretty and not common.

I really quite like this name. It is unusual, but modern.

If you don't spell the name right, it takes away the meaning and defeats the purpose of using it. Besides, it looks like you just don't know how to spell it, which doesn't give a very good impression.

I like this spelling of Desiree. Desiree looks like it's pronounced Des IRE (with a long I) ree (long E), and I don't know, I just love Desirae. It's so pretty, and the Z sound ROCKS like purple socks. Awesome name.

Sometimes "modern" spellings look bad, but I like this one. Since Desiree (without any accents) can look (to strictly English-speakers) like deh-zi-REE with a long 'e', Desirae emphasizes the 'ray' pronunciation at the end. I think Desirae is quite pretty, actually.

I like this a lot. I think it's the name of the oldest Brown. The 5 Browns are Desirae, Deondra, Melody, Gregory, and Ryan. They play piano and make DVDs, CDs, and do concerts.

Desirae sounds quite neat. I like it! Plus, you could nickname her something like "Dezzy/Dezzie" or "Rae" for short. :)

I really don't mind this spelling at all. In fact, this one may be my favorite. I do know that although Desiree is fine, I do prefer Desirae over it.
I've also seen this name as Desaray and I know that spelling gets a bunch of unnecessary hate, more so than Desirae.

Desiree is the correct spelling - it's not a name to be creative with - it's a French name and it became popular when the book Desiree by Annemarie Selinko and the movie Desiree with Marlon Brando & Jean Simmons came out! I really hate it when people try to twist and change the name. My name is Desiree... as far as I'm concerned it's the only way to spell it. Desiree Clary was Napoleon Bonapart's fiancee before he married Josephine. She went on to become the Queen of Sweden and Norway.
