I know a boy with this name, but he spells it Eacheann. It's pronounced like the letters HN.
Although "each" was once used for "horse" in Irish, it is now an archaic word. The modern word is "capall". That's the word that I always learned. :) Tá capall ag Déaglán - Declan has a horse.
In the Scottish highlands, it is sometimes anglicized as Hector.
Americans are going to say "each in" or "itchin'", which rhymes with "b*tchin'" -- argh!
