It makes me think of the car, and knowing who Edsel Ford's father was makes this name sound disgusting to me. Even without that association, it's an ugly name.

Edsel Ford was unfamous for being anti-Semitic. Artist Frida Kahlo and her husband, artist Diego Rivera, once were invited to a dinner at Edsel Ford's house and Frida asked Ford if he was Jewish, just to make him blush. Serverd him right!
