Emmett can't stand Hyacinth, but she is totally convinced that he has somewhat of a crush on her. "I do fluster him so", she claims.

Nice alternative to the overused Emma.

Personally, Emmett is a little boys name. I can imagine a little boy with curly hair, but I can't think of a tall, muscular older Emmett.

I can't help but think of the Beverly Hillbillies because of this name. It's so redneck sounding.
