It’s a nice name.
I like either pronouciation but it’s cool either way.
It looks confusing and uneducated spelled like this.
Personally I wouldn’t use it for a person but it’s good for a mythical character in a story! Also sounds very majestic.
Unusual name. It sounds like Euro dice.
What a beautiful name! Eurydice sounds stunning! The love story of Orpheus and Eurydice is very interesting. ❤
I love this name. The myth is tragic, but I think the love Orpheus has for Eurydice is inspiring and (obviously) heart-wrenchingly romantic. The name itself has such a pretty sound to it, and the nickname Eury (yuri) could be cute for a little girl. Beautiful name.
I prefer Eurydike because Eurydice doesn't sound so great in English.
I would like to use this. Unfortunately, I think of Creon's wife in Antigone. There are soooooooo many good names in that play but they are often ruined by association.
I don't think of Antigone as ruining the name by association. If anything, it gives you a good opportunity to teach the child classic literature, as well as giving them something to be proud of. How many of their friends will be able to pick up a piece of ancient literature and point to their names in the pages?
