Comments for the name Fane

Sounds like, "feign", which makes me think the person is a faker and not to be trusted.

I love how English speakers always go and apply English pronunciation to foreign words and names, without giving a thought to the fact that nearly all languages have pronunciation different from English. To my knowledge, this name should be pronounced “fah-ne” (“ne” as in “Nelly”), which sounds nothing like feign.
