Gero is the Japanese sound of a frog croaking, like how in English we have "ribbit". It also means "vomit" in Japanese. People in Japan say "Gero gero" when they're disgusted.
Overall, not too pleasant sounding of a name. If you decide to name your kid this, as long as your kid doesn't go to Japan you're good.
