Ancient Greek name Ippolyti (f), Ippolytos (m) (pronounced Eepoleetee, Eepoleetos in Greek). From the words ippos (horse) and lyo (unleashed). Daughter of god Ares, queen of the Amazons.

Another story about Hippolyte, Queen of the Amazons, goes that she was accidentally killed by her friend Penthesilea with a spear when they were hunting deer. Penthesilea was so upset about what she had done she wanted to die, but she could not kill herself because it would have been dishonourable, so she went to fight in the Trojan war.

What the? It sounds like "hippo light"! It's so dumb I even made up a woman named Hippolyte who's really fat and wears miniskirts! Because that's what I picture! It's just stupid!
