Here in Poland the name Imelda is extremely rare and hardly ever heard of, from what I know there haven't been any children in recent years that would be given this name. Still though, it is a little known, thanks to Imelda Lambertini and our Polish blessed nun Maria Imelda Żak, and from what I know it is sometimes used by nuns in Roman Catholic monasteries.
