Jimi Hendrix wrote a song named Izabella
Hey Izabella
Hey Izabella
Girl, I'm holding you in my dreams every
night. Yeah, but you know good well baby, You know
we got this war to fight. Well, I'm calling you under fire
Well, I hope you're receiving me all right. Hey, Izabella
Girl, I'm fightin' this war for the children and you
Yeah, yeah, yeah, baby! All this blood is for the world of you. All your love! So I hope you save your love, baby
Then I know the fightin' is true.

I didn't think this was legit. I thought the tryndees made it up.

It is something they made up, and it looks terrible. The z completely ruins an already extremely overused and trite name, it hurts my eyes to look at! I'm ashamed that this name is so high ranked. Please, please, please can we just end this "Isabella/Izabella/Isabela/issabella trend already?!

This is also the Russian form of the name, and presumably would also be used in the Ukraine, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and the various nations of the former Yugoslavia.

Interesting to see that this is, in fact, a legit spelling of the name. I would have assumed that someone just made it up. Leave it to the Slavic languages to have interesting variants of names.
