I am French, and no, the French pronunciation isn't JESS-ah-meen. It's zhess-ah-MEEN (the J in French sounds different that the J in English, check Jeanne, Josephine, Jessica etc. for reference, the pronunciation is given on this site) and the emphasis is on the last syllable. Jessamine is not popular in France.
