João Pedro da Silva Pereira is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Turkish club Trabzonspor mainly as a right back. An attacking wingback, he was also known for his fiery temperament that led to altercations with adversary players and referees numerous times. In his country, he represented both Benfica and Sporting, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 227 games and nine goals and winning the 2005 national championship with the former. He also spent two-and-a-half seasons in Spain with Valencia.
