This is also a German given name but a rare one. "Kasper", "Kasperl" and "Kasperle" are the names of the Punch puppet in Germany.

That's such a beautiful description you've stated about this name. =)I think the name Kasper is a stunning and elegant name. I prefer the spelling Casper, but Kasper is, like I've said, stunning. :)

This spelling is mostly archaic now in Poland - Kacper is used instead.
