At first glance this name does seem like a creative spelling of Christina or Kristina but that’s because Ukrainian uses the Cyrillic alphabet. It’s a translation from the Cyrillic to the Latin.
I don't like the spelling. I thought this was a kreeatyv spelling of Christina at first until I looked at the language. Wouldn't recommend unless if you live in Ukraine.
The spelling looks weird because it's a romanisation of Христина.
It's a mature sounding name. I like the kh/х sound in it, it gives a soft feel that's different from Cristina.
Hello :) I'm Khrystyna from Ukraine and shortly it's Khrystya. You have to pronounce it softly ("kh" is "ch" like a Helena). Canadian Foreign Minister -Khrystya Freeland - ethnic Ukrainian.
I hate the spelling, lol..
Sorry, I've got to say it. The spelling looks very unappealing and that's putting it lightly. Khrystyna looks like a garbled mess! Kristina and Christina are the only decent-looking spellings of this name.
Pronunced "khris-TI-nah".
