Blurgh! I'm sorry, Kimmies of the world, but this is an utterly horrid name!

Kimmie is a cute nickname for Kimberly or Kimberlyn. I prefer Kimmie then Kim.

This nickname annoys me, it makes me think of a spoilt young child. What's wrong with the nickname Kim?

In Sweden it can be male, since Kim is used for boys too.

This is a horrible nickname, although I don't like Kimberly in itself either. It sounds very infantile, and it's not even cute.

Kimmy is a western variant of the Japanese Kimi. Derived from the Japanese Kimiko, often spelled without the "ko". Kimi in Japanese means "Righteous One" or "Without Equal".

I'm sorry, but this name makes me giggle. It's so childish and undignified.

My name is Kimberley and I hate this diminutive and will not use it. Very babyish, something you would call a dog.

I think this name is extremely childish. I like Kim or Kimberly better for a person. I guess it is good for a child who is 7-, but it just gets weird after that.

I see some people don't like it but my name is Kimberley, and although I like my name I really like that people call me Kimmy. It's so sweet and cute and the nickname sounds like Barbie I think and I love that. I don't like the nickname Kim :( It's sooo boring.
