I really like this name for a boy, I can't understand why nobody has commented on it!-- littlescarlett 4/24/2007
I really like the name but prefer it spelled the way my brother spells it - Lenton.-- Anonymous User 9/3/2007
The Linton family from Emily Brontë's "Wuthering Heights" consisting of Mr. And Mrs. Linton, Edgar Linton, Isabella Linton, Catherine Linton. Isabella's son's name was Linton Heathcliff.-- scholasticastewart 5/3/2008
Very strong name. I'm surprised this name isn't more popular - maybe the lin part is off-putting.-- amazingtabby 7/10/2011
I'd like this, but I've read Wuthering Heights and the character of Linton Heathcliff isn't very admirable so I'd probably not use it.
I think the meaning of "lime tree town" is really cool, though.-- Anonymous User 8/26/2011
