According to (http://www.babynames.ch/Info/Name/naLucia2) Lucía ranked 34th place in Peru (2015) and ranked 3rd place in Buenos Aires (2015). I would say Lucía is more popular in Spain than countries in Latin America.

In Spain it is very common now. My daughter is called like that and this is what I don't like at this moment.
